After spending the first day of our weekend family trip in Rehoboth, we leisurely spent the next day at Cape Henlopen State Park. It was our first time going to Cape Henlopen, and we liked that it was a little quieter and had calmer waters than Rehoboth, which was perfect for younger children.
We took a weekend trip in late August with my parents and my sister to Rehoboth Beach and Cape Henlopen. The girls loved the beach and were happy to be back at Rehoboth!
Mio: “I can’t wait to go to kindergarten! It will be awesome!”
Me (a little puzzled, since we haven’t told her much about kindergarten yet): “Sure, Mio… but it’s over a year away. What do you know about kindergarten?”
Mio: “It’s going to have lots of KINDER SURPRISE EGGS!!!”
Funny because I can see exactly how she reached this misconception, but now I’m not sure how to break things to her…
Our third year at the Water Mine! Mirei could enjoy it a lot more this time, as she is older and can walk and splash around on her own. It’s become a sort of annual tradition for us!
