Our little girl is growing up so fast, before our very eyes! She barely had any hair only six months ago, and now her curls reach her shoulders and are long enough to sweep up in a ponytail. She’s turning into a strong, independent little lady, and it’s a wonder to watch. Sometimes, I curl up with her in my lap, nuzzling my nose into her chubby cheeks and close my eyes, trying to engrave into my memory the image and feeling of how small and sweet is right now — but it’s only a matter of seconds before she wriggles away and runs off.

At times I wonder if I take too many pictures of Mio, but I don’t think you can ever take too many. When she is grown and gone, these photos and videos are all I’ll have to remember these moments by. No matter what she’s doing in them, I will look back on and cherish each of these photos forever.

So with that reminder, I pick up the camera to capture even the most seemingly trivial of moments…

Sweet Mio
An afternoon in her new nursery.

Sitting in her chair.

Looking at the camera.

"Hi!"
Waving “Hi!”

She loves her books...
Our little bookworm, pulling all of the books off of the shelf and immersing herself in her reading.
