…recreating delicious dishes in the comfort of your own home.
Homemade haemul pajeon (Korean seafood pancake) for an afternoon snack. The one thing that's lacking in the Bay Area is good Korean food... I grew up near Annandale, which has the best Korean food, so I'm constantly craving the delicious eats from back home.
… surprise packages in the mail from friends.
A lovely dress for Mio, from Jina! She remembered that dusty rose was one of my favorite colors. Love blush tones!
… including homemade goodies from the bestest!
These homemade jams that my best friend Debbie made are amazing. Both are delicious, but the blueberry champagne in particular is heavenly!
… picking up an old favorite hobby.
I've started creating floral accessories again. I hadn't made any after Mio was born, but I'm excited to have some more time to craft some fashioned florals!
No, I haven’t tried Sunnyvale area… but it’s so far, and we rarely go down the South Bay so it’s not exactly local. I feel like the only good Korean food that was comparable to Ktown back home was the Korean food I had in LA….
Can you teach me how to make Korean food? Haha. I rarely eat it because it is usually kind of expensive and most of my friends don’t like it…the fact that it would be”good” Korean food would just be a bonus!
Sure!!! But I only make a couple side dishes, and I get the help of batter powders (in this case) and storebought marinade sauces… lol.
My friend and I were just talking about how she doesn’t go to Korean very often because it tends to be expensive, too. I always love going with large groups of people so we can get a ton of dishes and share family-style! π
