Mio and I returned to the Bay Area on Thursday. Mio was very well-behaved during the flight — she fell asleep after takeoff and didn’t wake up until an hour before we landed, during which she was quiet. What a relief! Dan is happy to have us back and missed his little Mio! 🙂
We had a wonderful time back in Virginia, and so did Mio! Here are some photos that my father took of her a couple days before we left.
Thank you to all our friends and family members who took the time to visit and see us! We will be back again during the winter holidays, as usual.

Thanks Mie! She’s definitely cheesing a lot more now for the camera! 🙂
I did bring a significant amount of baby gear over — a portable swing, travel crib, pump, and bottles… but the bouncer that’s in the photos is something my mom had hung onto when her friend had moved away and left it behind. She had tried to sell it at a yard sale but nobody took it, but it worked out that we could use it while we were there! 🙂
