Although Mio has been smiling for about a month now, her smiles have been few and far between. But since arriving in Virginia, she’s been smiling a lot for everyone, particularly for her obaachan (grandmother). π
(She’s not smiling in these last couple ones, but I thought they were also cute grandmother-granddaughter moments… :))

haha that’s exactly how kosei was! he would smile and laugh the most with my mom (aka meema)! It made me a little jealous of her for a little while but he became more and more smiley with everyone as he got older. I guess the babies just love to be with their grandmamas!

I totally know how you felt! I’m fighting a little jealousy myself because Mio smiles more at her grandma than at me! Kosei’s smiles are so sweet — I miss them already! π
