Aileen and Haruka visited us earlier this week. They’d already met Mio when she was about a month old, but they were sweet enough to think of us and stop by again on their way down from a weekend trip.

Mio had some very special visitors this past weekend — her Auntie Megumi, Auntie Sam, and Uncle Matt came to meet her for the very first time on Sunday! The last time we were all together was at the gorgeous baby shower that they threw for us before Mio was born. Megumi lives in Southern California now, but we’re so glad that she was in the area so that we could all come together again!

Megumi, Sam, and Matt have been so loving, sweet, and generous to Mio even before her arrival! I’m looking forward to all the future memories we’ll have together, and feel so lucky that Mio has such wonderful aunties and uncle that will be there to watch her grow. Mio is getting a lot of love in Virginia from not only family, but a lot of her Mommy’s friends, too! 🙂 Here are some of the wonderful people Mio has had the pleasure of meeting the past few days — she is such a lucky girl! 😀
On Friday, my best friend Debbie came to see Mio.
Our family friend had a baby in February, so we had a playdate with their daughter Junna-chan on Saturday.
Mio’s aunt Hyo (Dan’s sister) came down to visit from New York for the weekend, too!
My friend Stephanie came to meet Mio on Monday evening!
Today, Mio and I took the Metro to visit our friends Lan and Mie and their adorable sons! I forgot my camera so I couldn’t take many photos, but here are a couple that I took on my phone.
Mio is so lucky to be showered with so much love while we’re back East. We still have a little over a week left in Virginia, but we’ve already had so much fun making great memories with everyone here.
