We have been getting a lot of snow lately! Here are some photos from Sunday, February 21, when we went outside and played in the snow! This was Mirei’s first time being in the snow, and she seemed kind of stunned and fascinated by it.

We got our first true snowfall of the winter on January 6th! The girls awoke to a world blanketed in white, which they admired from the window.
This reminds me of how much it snowed last winter, and how we were constantly stressed about me possibly going into labor during a blizzard. The snow is beautiful, but hopefully we won’t get as many snow days this year!
Uncle Ted and Auntie Elisa came over and Mio got to play with everyone outside in the snow!
Following this winter’s first snowfall on Sunday, we got about five more inches of snow on Tuesday morning! Dan worked a partial day from home, and in the afternoon, we got to have some fun playing out in the snow in the backyard. (Mio’s preschool was cancelled both Monday and Tuesday, so she got to stay home too.)
We had some snow the other day, and we took Mio out to walk around. Our little California girl was a little overwhelmed because she’d never experience so much snow before!
