Dan and I have been making our own artisan bread at home lately! Our latest creation was some cheese bread — we used Asiago cheese, garlic, minced onion, rosemary, Italian seasoning, and even some red pepper! The result was a deliciously flavorful golden brown loaf.
There’s plenty of cheese inside the bread, but I love how the top gets encrusted in the molten Asiago, too.
Kneading dough is so much easier, faster, and thorough with the Kitchenaid. We’ve already been getting a lot of use out of it! I used it the other day to make gyoza dumplings, too. π The hubby has been really impressed by how powerful it is, and says we should’ve gotten it sooner. All I can say is “I told you so”….
