On Wednesday, December 16, Mio’s Pre-K class had their holiday concert! They sang three songs – Hoy es Navidad (the Spanish version of Jingle Bells), I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas, and the American Authors song Best Day Of My Life. Their whole performance was adorable!
Afterwards, we got to enjoy refreshments with Mio at her classroom party.
I have two husbands at school and then there’s my coworker Josh… but sometimes I don’t like boys.
Mio: “I want to watch the movie with the robot!”
Me: “Big Hero Six…?”
Mio: “No, not the big robot one…”
Dan: “Wall-E?”
Mio: “No no no! The one with the princess!”
Dan and I: (perplexed) “A princess…?”
Mio: “The robot and the PRINCESS WITH THE BUNS!!!”
Me: “Ohhh STAR WARS!!!”
First time I got a Star Wars reference before Dan did! (and I still have not seen any of the movies all the way through…)
We spent a lot of September continuing to settle into our new home and neighborhood. Here are a handful of videos we took.
