Mio is definitely hitting the “verbal explosion” stage these days, and is picking up and repeating several new words every week! As is expected, though, she’ll sometimes mispronounce words or confuse them with other words she already knows. She recently learned the word “naked,” but when the word comes out of her mouth, it sounds more like “bacon.”

Last night after her bath, she ran around sans clothing, pointing at herself and shouting “BACON!!!”

Dan and I couldn’t help but double over in laughter! My mother likes to call Mio a piglet (because of her chubbiness), so I suppose it may not be far from the truth… πŸ˜›
