Some captured moments from Election Day 2012, an election day that held particular significance for me in that I felt so strongly about it, and how much of a difference I feel we were able to make here in Virginia, which was once again a swing state.
Standing in line to vote at James Madison High School. I thought we were early, waking up at 6am, but the line was already so long!
The freezing temperatures and long lines did not stop us! This was my first year voting at the polls. (I voted all previous elections via absentee ballot.)
