The other weekend, Dan and I spent a Sunday afternoon in Piedmont. It’s a small affluent city surrounded by Oakland and is known for its beautiful architecture and trees. I’d never been to Piedmont before, so we stopped by a park and walked around. There was so much green, I loved it! The area reminds me of my hometown of Vienna, with its lush foliage and manicured lawns. I miss the East Coast….
Here is a little video I took…

I miss Vienna too. Thankfully, Seattle is surrounded with trees, so I feel somewhat at home. But it’s still not the same. 🙂 Sono, you and I are truly NoVA ladies!

Amen sister… I’ve been in over half the states in the US and still haven’t found a better place than Vienna. Maybe someday we will both find ourselves in NoVa again. ♥ A lot of areas here are so brown, it depresses me….

Isn’t it pretty? I love places where there are lots of green. I love botanical gardens too, which there are a few of in the Bay Area. Does Japan have a lot of places like this?
haha* I’ve had a lot of people tell me my voice sounds like a 5-year old… I wish it was less high-pitched. ::sigh::

It really is a cute place! It really reminds me of some of the nicer parts of Vienna, near Wolf Trap. 😀 Ahh I miss the DC area!
