They usually have more of a personality than hamsters, gerbils, and rabbits... they can be pretty feisty! haha* Apparently, if you're dedicated enough, you can teach them some simple tricks because they are among the smartest of "rodents." I would definitely recommend adopting a chinchilla, but keep in mind that they're nocturnal. ;) They’re really fun!
